This switching power supply was developed for Rockwell Corp. as an aerospace design, and used in the GPS satellite constellation. As subcontractors, we designed this high reliability, magnetics based pulse width modulated converter, capable of providing 20 watts at various secondary voltages to the linear regulator portion of the power supply. Worst case design practices and analysis were provided to support this development along with presentations at preliminary and critical design reviews.
