A provider of a "Heads Up Display" for use in Cobra Helicopters had developed a sophisticated digital system for Martin Marietta. Unfortunately, the system performed erratically and couldn't be delivered. We were called in after all internal attempts to resolve the problems had been exhausted. We blocked out the system, analyzed the timing relationships, and uncovered several "race conditions". Fixes were applied, and we accompanied the final product to its successful integration at the customer's site.
